Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Embertide (“the game”) handles, how it is handled, and how you can manage it. If this English version and the Chinese version differ, the Chinese version prevails.
1. Data stored on your device
The free browser version uses local browser storage. The paid iOS app uses local storage and a durable copy in the app’s private files to keep the following. This data stays on your device and is never uploaded to us:
- game settings (sound, visual effects, language);
- save games and progress (stored encrypted);
- local run records and boss practice records.
The game does not use cookies for advertising or tracking and does not include any third-party analytics or advertising SDK.
Browser version: use “clear site data” to remove the local game data. iOS app: use Delete App in iPhone or iPad storage settings to remove the app and its local files; Offload App keeps its data. Clearing Safari data does not delete the app’s saves. Export an encrypted backup from Continue / Saves before deleting anything. See data removal instructions.
2. Backups and sharing
The iOS app’s private files may be included in your system device backups, depending on your Apple backup settings. Backups you export are encrypted with the password you choose. Using the system share sheet sends the file only to the location or service you select, under that service’s own policies. We do not receive these files. Deleting the app does not remove exported files or existing device backups; manage those separately in Files and your Apple backup settings.
3. Technical information from visiting the site
As with any website, the hosting and network providers may record access logs such as IP address, time of access and browser type for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. These logs are kept under the providers’ own policies, and we do not use them to identify you.
4. Apple Game Center (iOS only)
Core gameplay works offline. When signed in to Game Center on your device, the iOS app can send scores and achievements to Apple through GameKit, associated with your Game Center account. Your nickname and results may be visible to other players under your Game Center settings. An account-scoped identifier and pending results are kept locally so offline results can sync later. We do not operate a leaderboard server or receive your Apple account password. Manage sign-in in the system Game Center settings; declining sign-in does not prevent offline play. Apple handles its service data under its own privacy policy.
5. Future community features
There are no developer-operated accounts, cloud saves or ranked leaderboards in the iOS release. If those community features launch in the future, we will handle:
- your account ID, a randomly generated nickname, and a password stored only as a cryptographic hash;
- encrypted cloud saves you choose to upload;
- input records and results of ranked runs (used to verify scores and show leaderboards; nicknames and scores are public);
- the cookie needed to keep you signed in.
We will update this policy and notify you in the game before they launch.
6. Children
The game contains fantasy combat. Follow the age rating shown for your region on the App Store. Children should play only with a parent or guardian’s consent and guidance.
7. Your rights and contacting us
To ask about, correct or delete information about you, or with any question about this policy, contact support@lumiora.ai. We will reply within 15 business days.
8. Changes
When this policy changes we will update the effective date above. Significant changes will be announced in the game.
